Here are the Geeky Jock's handpicked deals. These are some of the best deals you will find anywhere. I don't list just any merchant with a deal. I only list the best and most trusted merchants with great deals. Now, I can't guarantee that the items I list are in stock or that the deal will last forever, but I can guarantee that if I was in need of an item that I list, I would make the purchase. Enjoy!

Know of a great deal that isn't listed? Let me know using the feedback form.

Note:
AR = after rebate, and B&M = brick and mortar (meaning the physical store, not online)

Creative Labs Nomad MuVo2 4 GB MP3 Player $140 AR at Amazon

Amazon.com has the Creative Labs Nomad MuVo2 4 GB MP3 Player for $190 - $50 rebate = $140 with free shipping. Holds 128 hours of WMA music or 64 hours of MP3 on its 4GB hard drive. I like this one because it shows up as an external drive under Windows, so you can just drag and drop songs to it. You can also save any other files to it, so it's like having a 4GB external hard drive. Fast USB 2.0 transfer, up to 14 hours on its removable Li-ion battery, can be charged through USB or with a power adapter.

Save $30 on this by applying for the Amazon.com Visa card and get an automatic $30 gift certificate in your account when you pay with the card.

6% cash back on gas with the Chase PerfectCard

Fight the high gas prices! The Chase PerfectCard gives you 6% cash back on gas purchases for the first 90 days and 3% cash back after that. All other purchases earn you a straight 1% cash back. All the rebates you earn are automatically credited to your account. There's no annual fee for the first year, but there is a $19 fee after that if you don't use your card at least 9 times in a year. The flat cash back percentages (no tiered structure) as well as the 6% cash back on gas for the first 90 days make this a card that could save you a lot of money.

Read my article for more about the credit cards that give you the most cash back.

JVC GRD230 MiniDV Digital Camcorder w/10x Optical Zoom $300 AR at Amazon

$10 price drop! Looking to capture the kids opening gifts this Christmas? This is the way to go. Amazon.com has the JVC GRD230 MiniDV Digital Camcorder w/10x Optical Zoom for $350 - $50 rebate = $300. This is an almost absurd price. No one can even touch this price even without the rebate. The lowest price I could find anywhere else was $452! User reviews are very good for this camera. Has all the standard functions, good image stabilization, included remote control, and takes 1.33 megapixel still images. This appears to be the best buy for your money in this camcorder category.
