If you bought these separately from Buy.com it would cost you $170 for the camera and $92 for the printer for a total of $272! The cheapest I could you could buy these separately on the web is around $225. And these aren't old, cheap models. Both the camera and the printer are high-quality models that were recently released. Here's some information:
Canon Powershot A400: 3.2 megapixel, 2.2x optical zoom, Canon Digic chip found in the more expensive models, scene modes, 9 point autofocus, direct printing to the printer without a PC, movie mode with sound, secure digital memory, and it's a very nice-looking camera.
Canon Pixma iP3000 printer: up to 22 ppm in black and up to 15 ppm in color, 4x6 borderless print in 36 seconds, borderless prints up to 8.5"x11", 4 individual ink tanks, max color resolution of 4800x1200 dpi, and Canon compatible ink cartridges are cheap.
This is an unbelievable deal that probably isn't going to last long. I would highly recommend this bundle because I own both a Canon digital camera and Canon printer and I wouldn't buy anything else. Canon's quality and great prices make them the best.
