> About the ads
Unless you are one of my visually-challenged readers, I'm sure you've
seen the ads on each page on this site. I love to learn and write about
technology and I figure, if I'm pointing people to the best products at
the best prices, why don't I at least get something out of it? Now, believe
me, this site will probably never pay my bills or put food on the table,
but I figure there's no shame in making a little extra dough.
By now you're probably thinking, "Isn't there a little conflict
of interest here? He's going to give us advice on where to buy and then
make some money off of it?" Here's my pledge: I will never, ever
point you to a web site that I haven't bought from in the past, or would
have no qualms about buying from in the future. In addition, I will only
recommend products or services that I have bought and/or used or those
that I have done significant research on and would buy if I was in the
market to buy. The only exception to this is the Google ad banner on the
right side of the page. Google dynamically creates links that are appropriate
for the content on the page. I like these because the ads are very unobtrusive
and they give you, the reader, significantly more appropriate opportunities
than I could generate myself. So, use Google links at your own risk.
I'll be flat-out honest with you. If you click on most of the links and
banners within this site that point to retailers on the web, I will get
a small cut if you make a purchase at that site. If you find this site
useful, please reward me by clicking to these retailers through the links
on this site. If not, then don't, but I would definitely appreciate it
if you did.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask using the link on
the very bottom of this page.
